About The Position

Sanhua Automotive is looking for a Product Engineer to join our team in our San Jose office. The Product Engineer manages the successful development and implementation of the product from beginning to end. This person sees strategic ideas through from design and testing to implementation and market introduction.

Requirements

• BS degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 3 years work experience in the thermal management field and mechanical product development related fields.

Responsibilities

• Lead as primary technical interface to OEM and Tier 1 customers for the design of automotive thermal system products, including coolant valves, thermal system parts, and cold plates.
• Develop production lines, tooling, and fixtures to support prototype and mass production builds.
• Support product development across the full lifecycle, including CAD modeling, FEA/CFD simulations, Production line DFM, design/process validation planning, and DFMEA/PFMEA.
• Attend meetings with customers and support engineering changes, cost reduction, and technical inquiries.
• Apply industrial automation and manufacturing process knowledge to support product and production design.
