About The Position

POSITION SUMMARY: The Product Engineer works with our internal design, engineering and manufacturing teams to design and develop components and products for our White River Marine Group vessels. This role will participate in all phases of new product development, product improvement and model refresh. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Apply engineering theory and methodology to design and develop components for new products or current model improvements, in line with brand identity. Participate in all phases of development, including ideation, design validation and testing. Work with manufacturing teams to ensure ease of assembly, adapting lean methodology to improve quality and reduce waste. Generate, modify CAD models and drawings to support product development. Maintain revision control and file management. Create and process Engineering Change Notes (ECN), and update process documentation. Work collaboratively with internal teams during Gate phases to garner feedback and resolve issues to ensure on time launch delivery. Ensure products are designed in compliance with ABYC, USCG, NHTSA and other applicable regulatory entity laws. Any duties as assigned. EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's Degree in mechanical, electrical engineering or related field Experience in boat design and manufacturing preferred Experience with developing a product from concept through stable production Proficiency with Microsoft applications and 3D CAD software (AutoCAD, CATIA) Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills Ability to analyze information and made appropriate recommendations Ability to prioritize multiple competing priorities, meeting deadlines while delivering quality results Ability to work collaboratively with others Strong organization skills and an attention to detail Any duties as assigned Domestic travel by car or plane up to 10% Full Time Benefits Summary: Enjoy discounts on retail merchandise, our restaurants, world-class resorts and conservation attractions! Requirements

  • Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's Degree in mechanical, electrical engineering or related field
  • Experience in boat design and manufacturing preferred
  • Experience with developing a product from concept through stable production
  • Proficiency with Microsoft applications and 3D CAD software (AutoCAD, CATIA)
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
