About The Position

Product Designer About SRS Distribution SRS Distribution is a high-growth, private equity–backed wholesale distributor of building products with a nationwide footprint of 600+ locations across 44 states. We are transforming how our internal teams and customers interact with technology—modernizing legacy workflows, building scalable platforms, and creating intuitive digital experiences that support rapid growth. The Role SRS Distribution is seeking a Product Designer to help design and deliver intuitive, scalable, and impactful digital products used by our internal teams and external partners. This role will work closely with Product Management, Engineering, and business stakeholders to turn complex operational and customer problems into simple, effective experiences. You will own the end-to-end design process—from discovery and concept through delivery and iteration—across web and internal enterprise applications that support sales, operations, logistics, supply chain, and branch network growth.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience as a Product Designer, UX Designer, or similar role
  • Experience designing complex workflows for internal tools, enterprise platforms, or B2B products
  • Strong understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and visual design fundamentals
  • Ability to design across the full product lifecycle—from discovery through delivery
  • Proficiency with modern design tools such as Figma
  • Experience collaborating closely with Product Managers and Engineers in an agile environment
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills; able to explain design decisions clearly
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with evolving requirements

Nice To Haves

  • Experience designing for operational, logistics, supply chain, or multi-location businesses
  • Familiarity with design systems and component-based design
  • Experience working with data-heavy or workflow-driven applications
  • Exposure to B2B, wholesale, or distribution industries
  • Experience designing for complex workflows or data-heavy applications (e.g., B2B platforms, eCommerce).
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG).
  • Familiarity with mobile app guidelines (e.g., Material Design, iOS Human Interface Guidelines).
  • Graphic design experience with marketing materials such as flyers, banners, advertisements, logos, and branding assets.
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with Product Managers to define problems, goals, and success metrics
  • Translate complex business and operational requirements into clear user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs
  • Design end-to-end product experiences across internal tools and customer-facing applications
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and validation with internal users and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Engineering to ensure designs are feasible, scalable, and delivered with high quality
  • Contribute to and help evolve SRS’s design system and interaction standards
  • Advocate for user-centered design while balancing business needs, technical constraints, and delivery timelines
  • Iterate designs based on user feedback, analytics, and real-world usage
  • Clearly communicate design rationale to cross-functional and executive stakeholders
