About The Position

We’re looking for a Product Designer, our second design hire at Campfire. This is an opportunity to reinvent finance and bring our customers into the AI era. You’ll help shape the design culture and define the user experience of Campfire.

Requirements

• You have 4+ years of product design experience, ideally in a high-growth B2B startup where you shipped fast, learned through iteration, and balanced speed with polish.
• You have a strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design for complex products.
• You thrive working on complex domains and are comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving projects forward to deliver intuitive and elegant experiences.
• You are a product thinker who understands user needs, edge cases, and balances short-term decisions with long-term impact to deliver customer value.
• You enjoy collaborating with customers and cross-functional teams – proactively seeking feedback and bringing others along in your design process.

Responsibilities

• Design intuitive experiences and own the end-to-end design process from early concepts and product flows to hi-fidelity mocks and implementation details.
• Conduct user research to understand user needs, uncover insights, and validate designs.
• Partner with product and engineering to ship polished features that improve the user experience.
• Establish design patterns and enhance the design system.
• Stay up to date on design trends and find inspiration to invent new interaction and visual paradigms for finance and accounting.
