Product Design, FinTech

NavanPalo Alto, CA

About The Position

We are a fintech company working where finance and AI meet. We’re building the future of fintech, where intelligent systems are paired with thoughtful, human-centered design. As a Product Designer, you’ll help create experiences that make complex financial workflows feel clear and approachable, so people can make confident decisions. You will be joining a small design team of 3–4 world-class designers where your perspective will matter from day one. You can expect meaningful ownership, close collaboration, and the chance to shape not only the product, but also how the team operates. We care about context and purpose, and we sweat the details so that every pixel, interaction, and decision supports people in reaching their financial goals.

Requirements

  • You have 1–3 years of product design experience (or relevant academic training) with a portfolio that shows your process, craft, and impact
  • You are fluent in Figma, from components and variants to prototyping and design systems
  • You start from first principles and ask “why” before jumping into solutions
  • You are comfortable designing with AI and automation in mind, and you know when to augment and when to simplify
  • You care about details but also understand the tradeoffs needed to ship in a fast-paced environment
  • You are self-directed and can manage your own projects, and you also enjoy working in teams where ideas are debated and improved
  • You seek out and respond well to constructive feedback, using it to strengthen both your work and your thinking

Nice To Haves

  • Motion design experience a strong plus

Responsibilities

  • Think in systems: Build cohesive experiences across products, considering how AI and automation support, rather than replace, human judgment
  • Work through ambiguity: Lead projects from concept to launch in a fast-moving environment where priorities can shift
  • Collaborate closely: Partner with engineers, product managers, and data scientists to shape direction and raise the quality of the work
  • Stay current: Track design trends, patterns, and best practices, bringing in new ideas while maintaining a high bar for craft
  • Iterate deliberately: Use research, data, and feedback to refine your work, holding strong opinions that you are willing to adjust
