ZTD has the charge to design, build, implement, and sustain enterprise ERP and related application solutions based primarily on the SAP technology platform. We are seeking a motivated student with a keen interest in SAP and ERP solutions to support Business transformation on a global scale. This individual should have a drive to support and be part of a team in GMS Zoetis Tech & Digital (ZTD) team in developing new capabilities and insights for the organization. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain insight into GMS processes and SAP system solutions of a global leader in Animal Health within the life sciences industry. The intern will collaborate with the GMS Zoetis Tech & Digital teams, engaging in product management and coordination activities to support the management and delivery of the project/enhancement portfolio. While the primary focus will be on GMS Logistics, the internship will also work across the other GMA areas and the cross-team cooperation required to deliver changes/solutions to match the business challenges. The intern will gain exposure to Logistics functional capabilities of GMS applications in SAP. Depending on the intern's interests, the role can be adjusted to provide hands-on experience with other SAP areas in GMS.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Supply Chain, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Understanding of or interest in GMS.
  • Desire to learn about program and project management related to IT projects.
  • Experience with Microsoft Applications (Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Enrolled in a degree program during the Spring term preceding the internship.
  • Completion of at least one year of undergraduate studies with a 3.0 GPA or higher.
  • At least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Successfully pass a background check and drug screen.
  • Strong analytical skills and good process understanding.
  • Ability to communicate complex solutions in a simple and effective manner.
  • Interest in technology, process management, and interdepartmental collaboration.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of commercial applications is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate Activities / projects, including scheduling and facilitating project team meetings and status updates.
  • Drive project tasks to completion across multiple IT areas (Supply Chain & Logistics, GMS).
  • Support Logistics project team with day-to-day project work, including meeting minutes, follow-up on actions, and ad-hoc tasks.
  • Provide practical support with planning around meetings and onsite events, including agendas.
  • Prepare presentations to improve communication around the project and solution.
  • Assist with analytical tasks, communication, calculating business cases, developing, and reviewing scenarios.
  • Ability to work with a global team based in different locations and time zones.
  • Demonstrated ability to work across organizational regional and global boundaries, ability to multitask and manage multiple enhancements in a cross-divisional and cross-functional environment.
  • Opportunity to Complete SAP Training to support knowledge of the product area.
  • Will work closely with experts and will gain business and technical knowledge.
  • Participate in testing of the GMS applications in SAP
