About The Position

Communicate with service writer and Director of Fleet Maintenance to order parts needed for truck and trailer repairs.

Maintain part inventory within shop supply area and regularly order based off needs. Close out invoices throughout the day.

Restock inventory, including unpacking, labeling, and organizing parts.

Maintain tire supply for shop.

Manage part cycle counts.

Order fuel for shop.

Process purchase orders.

Other duties as may be assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or the equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience around shop preferred.
• Knowledge of the Trucking Industry a plus.
• Ability to interact and communicate effectively with others.
• Ability to recognize when action is necessary and to implement the required actions within a reasonable time.
• Ability to prioritize workflow.
• Time management skills a must.
• Ability to learn programs unique to the trucking industry.
• The position will require attention to detail.
