Job Purpose To lead and implement the procurement strategy for assigned team – owning process performance and driving completion of small to medium sized, complex projects and initiatives. In this position you will have the opportunity to: Assist in establishing and maintaining LP’s procurement processes Leverage sourcing opportunities through consolidation of purchases; achieving optimal cost, quality, safety, environmental compliance, and processing efficiency Drive your team’s strategic direction based on goals cascaded from Sr Management Be responsible for your team conducting all procurement activities in accordance with the Supply Management Strategy Lead projects; coordinate the implementation of productivity initiatives Mitigate problems and errors when they arise to reduce overall impact Recruit, retain, and develop high-performing, results-focused talent for assigned team Ensure all procured goods/services meet required technical specifications and delivery schedules, and will provide LP with the greatest possible value Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned
