About The Position

Trimax is an industry-leading manufacturer of commercial mowers known for innovation, durability, and exceptional customer support. Our Spare Parts Department plays a critical role in keeping our customers’ equipment operating at peak performance by ensuring fast, accurate distribution of parts and exceptional service. The Procurement Specialist leads and executes the sourcing, purchasing, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship activities that support Trimax Mowers’ operations and strategic goals. This role ensures the right materials, components, and services are procured at competitive cost, with high quality and reliable supply, while managing procurement processes, budgets, and supplier performance.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in procurement, sourcing, or purchasing — ideally in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and procurement software.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate across departments, manage priorities, and support continuous improvement.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional certifications (e.g., CPSM, C.P.M.) a plus.
  • Experience with inventory and supplier performance metrics.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective procurement strategies aligned with company goals and manufacturing demand.
  • Identify, qualify, and maintain relationships with reliable suppliers that meet quality, cost, delivery, and regulatory criteria.
  • Lead competitive sourcing processes and negotiate vendor contracts, pricing, terms, and service-level agreements.
  • Evaluate and manage contracts throughout their lifecycle to ensure compliance and value delivery.
  • Monitor procurement spending and align purchases with budgetary goals and needs of operations.
  • Analyze spend data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve procurement efficiency.
  • Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and audits to ensure delivery, quality, and reliability.
  • Develop and implement mitigation plans for supply risks, including backup sourcing options.
  • Establish and maintain procurement policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Working cross-functionally with operations, finance, engineering, and logistics to fulfill materials and service’s needs.
  • Promote continuous improvement in procurement practices.
