About The Position

In the capacity of Procurement Specialist at DWT, your contribution is crucial to fostering the company's expansion. Your responsibilities encompass steering the procurement process for our wind energy projects. The successful candidate will assume the responsibility of sourcing, negotiating, and contracting with suppliers, ensuring the punctual and cost-effective procurement of materials, equipment, and services essential for the development, planning, and execution of wind farms.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, related field, or equivalent years of experience (5 years) in Supply Chain specific to wind energy industry.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Knowledge of wind energy technologies and supply chain dynamics.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to travel weekly or as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability, and sustainability criteria
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, fostering collaboration and driving continuous improvement
  • Conduct in-depth market research and perform national and international value analyses to stay informed about supplier landscapes, trends and innovations
  • Regularly negotiate, draft, and monitor master service agreements, supplier agreements and contracts to ensure favourable and compliant terms
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, engineering teams and internal departments to understand requirements and develop effective procurement strategies
  • Ensure procurement activities are tightly aligned with project schedules, milestones, and strategic business objectives.
  • Drive sustainable procurement strategies in cooperation with cross-functional teams and business units.
  • Execute continuous improvements across quality, availability, and pricing by optimizing procurement processes.
  • Strategically develop and manage supplier portfolios, including supplier assessment, selection, and capability development.
  • Identify and mitigate procurement risks including supply chain disruptions, cost volatility, and quality deviations.
  • Take full ownership of preparing, conducting, and leading price negotiations independently.
  • Optimize and standardize procurement workflows and tools to improve transparency and efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate procurement documentation, including contracts, purchase orders, and supplier records.
  • Monitor procurement costs continuously, identifying savings opportunities without compromising quality or delivery timelines.
  • Oversee contract and supplier performance management, ensuring accountability and measurable value delivery.
