About The Position

As a Procurement Specialist, you will be solely responsible for the end-to-end process of acquiring used aesthetic laser and energy devices. Your expertise in identifying valuable equipment, evaluating market conditions, and negotiating favorable purchase terms will be critical to your success and the profitability of our pre-owned inventory.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or strategic sourcing, ideally within the medical device, aesthetic equipment, or high-value electronics industries.
  • Proven track record of success in negotiating purchase prices and securing favorable terms in acquisition deals.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess market data, evaluate device value, and make data-driven purchasing decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly in negotiation and relationship-building with suppliers/sellers.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and inventory management systems.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage a high volume of potential acquisitions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach to optimizing inventory acquisition.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of aesthetic laser and energy devices (manufacturers, models, market value) is a significant plus.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and source opportunities to purchase pre-owned aesthetic laser and energy devices from clinics, dealers, and other sellers.
  • Evaluate incoming offers and information from sellers (e.g., via LaserMatch listings, inbound inquiries) to determine the viability and value of prospective acquisitions.
  • Assess market demand, current inventory levels, and historical performance data to make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Lead all pricing negotiations with sellers to secure the most competitive purchase prices for pre-owned equipment.
  • Manage the entire procurement cycle, from initial offer generation to securing purchase agreements and coordinating device acquisition.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (e.g., Logistics, Refurbishment, Sales) to ensure a smooth and efficient intake process for acquired devices.
  • Continuously monitor the secondary market for aesthetic equipment, including pricing trends, supply fluctuations, and emerging device popularity.
  • Develop and refine procurement strategies to ensure a consistent flow of high-demand, high-quality pre-owned inventory.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with potential sellers and industry contacts to build a robust network for sourcing devices.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all procurement activities, device specifications, and transaction statuses within Salesforce and other internal systems.
