As our Procurement Specialist , you'll lead end-to-end sourcing and procurement operations that drive cost savings, supplier diversity, and eco-conscious purchasing. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related field
  • 3-5 years in a Procurement and Sourcing , strategic sourcing, or supply chain leadership role
  • Proven track record in cost savings, supplier evaluation, and performance improvement
  • Skilled in contract negotiation, vendor management, and procurement law
  • Experience with tools like Coupa, Ariba, or SAP; strong Excel proficiency
  • A Procurement Specialist who sees sourcing as a strategic driver-not just a support function
  • Collaborative and clear communicator across departments and leadership
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and highly organized under pressure
  • Comfortable using procurement tools and financial models to make smart decisions
  • Passionate about sustainable sourcing, supplier diversity, and positive change

Nice To Haves

  • CPSM, CPSD, or MBA
  • Deep knowledge of sustainable procurement

Responsibilities

  • Lead sourcing and procurement across key categories with a focus on cost, quality, sustainability, and compliance
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies that reflect Verde's environmental and social goals
  • Manage competitive bidding cycles (RFQs, RFPs), negotiate contracts, and mitigate supplier risk
  • Build and manage strong supplier relationships-especially diverse and eco-responsible vendors
  • Coordinate vendor setup and procurement for new client site launches
  • Oversee purchase order and accounts payable workflows
  • Track procurement KPIs, conduct spend analysis, and drive continuous process improvement
  • Manage fleet vehicles (insurance, registration, maintenance) and ensure operational vendor compliance
  • Maintain inventory and asset tracking across sites
