About The Position

The Senior Procurement Specialist will lead strategic contracting and end-to-end Information Technology (IT) procurement for software, hardware, network, cloud, and related services supporting Infor's Product Management, Product Development, and enterprise technology needs. The role owns the full supplier lifecycle—from evaluation, negotiation, and onboarding through contract stewardship, performance governance, and renewals—ensuring adnce to Infor'smercial standards, financial guardrails, and risk controls. As a key liaison across Product Development, Product Management, IT, Legal, Finance, Security, and executive stakeholders, this leader structures and negotiatesplexmercial terms and builds long-term, value-creating relationships that scale with the business.

Requirements

  • Experience in IT procurement, sourcing, vendor or product partner management in the software/IT industry.
  • Experience negotiatingplex software and cloud agreements and enterprise licensing models (SaaS and on-premise).
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle, pricing and licensing constructs, and supplier performance management.
  • Experience inmercial contracting and negotiation skills with the ability to assess financial implications quickly and accurately.
  • Demonstrated influence skills and executive presence with internal and external senior stakeholders.
  • Organizational skills, disciplined execution, and ability to manage multiple initiatives independently.
  • Experience with Microsoft applications, financial controls, approval workflows, and contract administration processes.
  • Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship now or in the future.

  • Professional certifications (e.g., MCIPS/CIPS, project management, Six Sigma) and experience with Point or document management platforms.
  • International sourcing experience and multilingual capability (e.g., German, French, Portuguese).

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic negotiations forplex IT related Agreements including, but not limited to enterprise licensing, perpetual licensing, SaaS subscriptions, services, Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Own end-to-end supplier lifecycle management, including evaluation, selection, onboarding, contract administration, and renewals.
  • Translate product and IT roadmaps into proactive sourcing plans; conduct market analysis; and optimize supplier portfolios for cost, delivery, and innovation.
  • Ensurepliance withmercial, financial, legal, security, privacy, and reputational controls; maintain accurate agreement and supplier data across systems.
  • Govern supplier performance using KPIs and SLAs; resolve issues rapidly and drive continuous improvement and risk mitigation.
  • Interpret and amend existing agreements to meet evolving business requirements, steward software asset management principles and entitlement accuracy.
  • Champion (Vendor Management Office) VMO process excellence to improve cycle time, data quality, and forecasting while supporting team operations as needed.
