About The Position
This position is responsible for imaging, deploying, and managing FTIC’s computing inventory as well as providing local and remote helpdesk support.
Requirements
- Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLAN fundamentals)
- Understanding of Active Directory basics (user accounts, passwords, group membership)
- Familiarity with PC imaging / deployment tools
- Basic troubleshooting of printers, mobile devices, and handheld scanners
- Experience with service desk or ticketing systems
- Understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals (phishing awareness, safe handling of credentials)
- Microsoft Operating Systems
- Some college or experience preferred.
Nice To Haves
- Computer hardware or software related certification a plus
Responsibilities
- Managing and tracking computer and mobile device inventory
- Imaging and deploying computer and mobile device inventory
- Providing local and remote helpdesk support for hardware, software, and enterprise applications
- Maintaining quality service by following organizational standards
- Maintaining technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing publications
- Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed
