The Procurement Manager is a strategic decision maker who protects margins, ensures continuity, and builds long-term supplier value. Key responsibilities Lead, coach, and develop the Procurement Officer and their job functions. Determine and update the ERP parameters to optimize the MRP optimizing stock while avoiding shortages. Ensure timely procurement of materials and tools in line with MRP demand and business schedules Manage the SIOP process Process and manage purchase orders and expedite deliveries as needed Maintain ongoing communication with the Procurement Manager, Purchasing Manager, Receiving / Shipping Manager and Operations Manager Analyze the need for raw materials, semi-finished and finished products to ensure adequate availability. Optimize inventory levels and their rotation to avoid shortages and overstocks, while minimizing storage costs. Monitor the performance of suppliers and procurement processes to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure inventory availability while remaining compliant with quality and lead time standards. Identify and mitigate procurement risks, such as delivery delays, fluctuations in transit times, quality issues. Provide regular updates to internal stakeholders regarding procurement status including published lead times, minimum order quantities, costs, inventory values, and expected delivery dates. Ensure adherence to company policies, privacy agreements, international trade regulations, and import/export requirements Supports ISO9001. Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager
