About The Position

PepsiCo is a global leader in convenient foods and beverages, with a portfolio that includes iconic brands such as Frito Lay, Pepsi, Gatorade, Quaker and others. As part of our Global Procurement team, we are looking for a Director of Dairy Procurement to lead the sourcing strategy for Dairy raw materials across North America. This role is accountable for the end-to-end strategic sourcing and supply assurance of Dairy raw materials, supporting multiple business units in Nutrition, Beverages and emerging brands. You'll operate within a high-impact, matrixed environment, partnering with senior cross-functional leaders to develop long-terms strategies, optimize cost, ensure supply continuity and drive supplier innovation and sustainability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 10+ years in strategic procurement, category management or dairy ingredient sourcing within a Dairy-core organization.
  • Deep domain expertise in milk supply chains, including technologies, dairy economics and supplier landscapes.
  • Strong experience negotiating complex contracts and building multi-tier supply partnerships.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior stakeholders in matrixed environments.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to link sourcing strategy to long-term enterprise value.
  • Strong financial acumen and commercial mindset.
  • High learning agility, able to thrive in complexity and lead transformation.
  • Track record of leading with purpose and developing inclusive, high-performance teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree or MBA with a focus on Supply Chain, Agribusiness or Strategy.
  • Familiarity with commodity risk strategies, milk marketing regulations and Dairy ingredient platforms.
  • Experience leading procurement within a CPG, nutrition or performance beverage business.

Responsibilities

  • Design the end-to-end strategic roadmap for Dairy raw material sourcing in North America aligned to PepsiCo’s nutrition, innovation and supply chain strategies.
  • Define multi-year category strategies that integrate cost transformation, value engineering, risk management and competitive advantage creation.
  • Serve as the enterprise thought leader on Dairy raw materials market trends, dairy technologies and value chain dynamics.
  • Lead category performance management across cost, innovation, quality and sustainability spaces.
  • Utilize deep market intelligence, commodity insights and commercial levers to deliver total cost of ownership (TCO) value beyond price negotiations.
  • Partner with Finance and Risk Management to deliver robust forecasting, cost modeling and scenario planning aligned to broader portfolio economics.
  • Build and manage strategic partnerships with dairy processors and co-manufacturers, with a focus on innovation, capacity flexibility and supply assurance.
  • Lead complex commercial negotiations and execute supplier contracts that align with PepsiCo’s risk, compliance and value creation objectives.
  • Build and evolve a best-in-class supplier ecosystem across Dairy raw material producers, technology partners and co-manufacturers.
  • Establish long-term supplier relationship management (SRM) frameworks, including joint business plans, innovation partnerships and governance.
  • Collaborate with R&D, Commercial and Supply Chain teams to ensure Dairy raw materials sourcing models are aligned with the nutrition and functional beverage innovation agenda.
  • Actively support new product development cycles by engaging suppliers early in the development process and building resilient scale-up strategies.
  • Drive the integration of PepsiCo Positive (pep+) across across Dairy raw materials sourcing, with focus areas in greenhouse gas reduction and animal welfare.
  • Ensure alignment with regulatory standards (e.g. FDA, USDA, anti-competition decree) and compliance with responsible sourcing policies.

Benefits

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $125,900 - $249,900.
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 25% of annual salary paid out annually.
  • and an additional target payout of 10% of annual salary is paid out over 3 years following the end of the performance period.
  • Long term incentive equity may be awarded based on eligibility and performance.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.
