About The Position

As the Procurement Manager you will own the strategy and execution of North America’s External Manufacturing Portfolio. You will oversee the delivery of External Manufacturing (EM) commitments of Cost, Cash, Supplier Network Optimization, Compliance, Quality, Customer Service, Delivered Profit, Innovation Requirements, and Sales Growth. Your strategic mindset and strong business acumen will enable you to partner effectively with internal business units and cross-functional teams in the North America region. You’ll work collaboratively with both suppliers and internal stakeholders to understand business needs and develop supplier network strategies that maximize total value, unlock innovation, and build a resilient and agile supply chain. This position requires strong supplier relationship management, complex contract negotiation skills, and will drive the supplier selection process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain or related field.
  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Ability to Travel 10 - 15%
  • Full Time position, standard business hours Monday through Friday

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Consumer-Packaged Goods Industry.
  • Master's degree/MBA.
  • Procurement skills in areas such as market analysis, negotiation, clean sheets.
  • Manage complex projects with a high degree of ambiguity.
  • Background in contract manufacturing procurement or direct material sourcing is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Own the commercial relationship and development of strategic partnerships with EMs.
  • Lead the development, negotiation, and execution of supply contracts & pricing negotiation strategies.
  • Collaborate with regional cross-functional team and Business units to develop and implement mid- to long-term network and technology strategies that enhance overall capabilities, reduce complexity, meet sustainability goals, and improve cost competitiveness.
  • Drive go-to-market strategies (RFI/RFP) for new product development, focusing on total value, technical capabilities, and operational efficiency while minimizing overall risk.
  • Manage strategic supplier relationships, fostering partnerships that support innovation and long-term value creation.
  • Lead the development, negotiation, and execution of master contracts, supply agreements, and supplier pricing.
  • Serve as the escalation point for supply-related issues, establishing governance frameworks to monitor supplier performance and ensure timely resolution.
  • Partner with regional supply chain strategy teams to define sourcing models and resiliency plans for priority segments.
  • Collaborate with R&D, Engineering, and Marketing to enable innovation through external manufacturing capabilities.
