About The Position

JOB PURPOSE: The Procurement Analyst strengthens Procurement Operations by maintaining accurate procurement data, providing visibility into inventory positions across the network, and driving the execution of procurement‑related projects and changes. The role blends analytical rigor, project management, and cross‑functional coordination to support reliable supply, clean financial data, and operational readiness within a fast-paced contract manufacturing environment. It is highly collaborative, working closely with internal manufacturing sites and external manufacturing partners to ensure alignment, transparency, and smooth operational execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Finance, or related field.
  • 1–4 years of experience in procurement operations, supply chain analytics, or related roles; food/CPG experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, data visualization tools, and ERP/MRP systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects, coordinate stakeholders, and drive tasks to completion.
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex information clearly and professionally.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment with shifting priorities and tight timelines.
  • Understanding of procurement processes, inventory concepts, and supplier performance metrics.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor network‑level inventory positions for key ingredients and packaging, identifying potential shortages, excess, or aging inventory and escalating risks to Procurement and Planning leadership.
  • Maintain accurate procurement master data in ERP/MRP systems, including pricing, lead times, MOQ, safety stock parameters, and supplier attributes.
  • Track supplier delivery performance, lead‑time adherence, and service levels to support supplier performance reviews and operational decision-making.
  • Design, build, and maintain dashboards that provide visibility into procurement KPIs, inventory health, supplier performance, and operational risks.
  • Capture, organize, and validate procurement‑related financial data to support accruals, cost updates, budget tracking, and financial reporting.
  • Lead procurement‑related project activities such as supplier transitions, new material introductions, packaging changes, and cost-improvement initiatives by coordinating timelines, stakeholders, and system updates.
  • Drive change‑management processes within procurement operations, ensuring new materials, suppliers, and process updates are accurately implemented and communicated across functions.
  • Collaborate closely with internal manufacturing sites and external manufacturing partners to ensure alignment on material readiness, data accuracy, and operational impacts of procurement changes.
  • Identify process gaps and contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives that enhance data integrity, streamline workflows, and improve cross-functional alignment.
