About The Position

This key role in the Procurement team is responsible to support the different Operational and Strategic functions, from the supplier relationships management, through securing supply continuity, to supporting diverse projects across Procurement Operations and Procurement Category strategic teams. This position engages across the different levels and functions of Procurement and quickly gets exposure to leaders in the organization (Operational and Strategic). This role is expected to contribute with ideas and identifying opportunities, and quickly adapt by playing in the world of the possibilities, to make things happen by challenging assumptions and improving processes. Activities in this role may include but are not limited to, P.O.s placing, Pricing Maintenance, general communication with suppliers and internal customers, database building, processes improvement, New Products launch support, cross functional projects.  Performance of this role requires enjoying and embracing the use of Excel capabilities, spreadsheets, building databases and reporting, great follow up and people skills (Sociable), getting information and setting multiple calls/conversations, quickly escalate challenges to its manager to get them resolved. Due to the diverse scope of this role, the person to occupy this position must be self-driven, extrovert, independent and good communicating, good at working in hybrid/flexible model of working from home and office as required, may be presented with different specific tasks and/or projects that need to be taken to completion, having continuous follow up calls/meetings to get the necessary direction and get things done.

Requirements

  • University/Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience (Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, Economics, Business Administration, Finance - preferred)
  • Great Excel management capabilities, spreadsheets, building databases, reporting.
  • Great follow up skills, follow ups, getting information and setting multiple calls, quickly escalate challenges to its manager to get them resolved.
  • Self-driven, extrovert, independent and good communicating, good at working from home, will be presented with a task, and needs to take it to completion, having follow up calls.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with an ERP system (desirable, but not a requirement)

Responsibilities

  • Supporting diverse projects across Procurement Operations and Procurement Category teams.
  • May include but are not limited to, P.O.s placing, Pricing Maintenance, general communication with suppliers and internal customers, database building, processes improvement, New Products launch support, cross functional projects, report building and management.
  • Support on Identifying and potentially implementing process improvements across Procurement Operations and Procurement Category teams.
