About The Position

RTX has an immediate opening for a temporary Procurement Analyst. This role will support the Maximo workflow system to manage your queues, to submit Requests for Quotes (RFQs) for daily solicitations and IDIQ price pending Service Requests (SR), in addition to the upcoming IDIQ proposal. This position will be taking directions out of and working in Fairdale, KY. The assignment length may vary based on business need but is anticipated to last one year.

Requirements

  • Typically requires A University Degree or equivalent experience and less than 2 years prior relevant experience.
  • Experience in Supply Chain
  • U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Microsoft office 365 (Excel and Word)
  • Experience using SAP PRISM
  • Experience in utilizing automation tools and strong leadership capabilities, including the ability to influence, demonstrate presence, and effectively engage with internal teams and suppliers

Responsibilities

  • Submitting Requests for Quote (RFQ)
  • Evaluating Supplier Quotes
  • Creating Sourcing Packages
  • Managing workload in Maximo
  • Researching part history in SAP PRISM and Accuris (Haystack Gold)
  • Working with other functions to resolve problems (Engineering, Quality, Program, Supply Chain)
