About The Position

Join LGEAI and play a key role in shaping our indirect procurement strategy as a Procurement Analyst. In this role, you’ll support key commodities and manage critical tasks within the General Procurement Process, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and value across all purchasing activities. You’ll be responsible for analyzing procurement data, reviewing documentation for completeness, and preparing detailed status reports for the Procurement Team. You’ll also engage with vendors and prospective suppliers, monitor market trends, and support forecasting and cost analysis to drive informed decision-making. Collaboration with internal teams will be essential to align product delivery, pricing, and quality expectations, helping to maintain strong supplier relationships and achieve company goals. The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented professional with strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, and a passion for innovation and continuous improvement in procurement operations

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Business or related field
  • 2 years of experience performing budget planning, project management and/or procurement support preferred
  • Proficient in MS Office-Excel, Outlook, Word, Power Point
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to work successfully in a fast-paced, and rapidly changing, environment
  • Ability to travel if required (10%)

Responsibilities

  • Vendor and market research
  • Tracking cost savings and innovation goals and reporting results as necessary.
  • Supporting project bidding and evaluation planning.
  • Understanding and compliance with General Procurement Standards for fair bidding and negotiation.
  • Understanding internal team needs and how they relate to procurement requests.
  • Coordinating with various internal managers to align expectations.
  • Analyzing commodity markets in order to assess present and future material availability and pricing trends.
  • Performing metrics analysis and reporting
  • Weekly, monthly and yearly reporting on a variety of metrics and/or projects. Areas include cost and innovation savings, status of procurement requests and issues.
  • Interdepartmental support
  • Working with various groups within the company (Accounting, Quality and Engineering, Customer Service, Field Support, Tech Support, etc.) and provide informative and correct analysis of commodity markets, technology, and trends upon request.
  • Working with the Legal Team to create contracts with vendors that minimize risks.
