About The Position

We’re looking for a Finance Operations Senior Solutions Architect who is responsible for architecting, designing and implementing projects, initiatives, and systems enhancements as well as help with automation of finance processes and reporting. This position reports directly to the Chief Accounting Officer and will play a key role driving and enhancing Finance Operations and Accounting projects and operations at Klaviyo.

• 8+ years of experience in Finance technology with experience working on large project initiatives
• Expertise in project management, requirements gathering, architecting, testing, and creating best in class technology solutions

Nice To Haves

• Experience with financial planning tools (Adaptive Insights), ERPs (NetSuite) and data visualization tools (Tableau, Alteryx, etc.) strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Translate functional needs into holistic project plans and technical solutions. You aren’t satisfied with taking an ask at face value. You are curious - always wanting to know the desired outcome and will consult to ensure we’re solving for the business need, not just checking the box. You provide recommendations that balance meeting the business need and creating scalable, best in class technology solutions and experiences, and then lead the core project team from intake to delivery.
• Lead project intake and design sessions across Finance, GTM Operations, SMEs, and business leaders on topics including foundational data, processes, and connections to enterprise applications
• Be an architect and integration partner to the Finance Systems team. Seek out and support scoping technology solutions, enhancements, or optimizations that drive Klaviyo further.
• Ensure we have holistic solutions and detailed project plans that bring together our overall technology stack across our Finance or cross-functional platforms: NetSuite, Coupa, Concur, Zip, Zab, Fidelity, etc.
• Monitor and recommend changes to improve processes, technology, and data quality.
• Responsible for understanding, creating, and implementing end to end processes, identifying and closing gaps in processes and dependencies and transforming the technology landscape
• Following Technology Governance by completing project intake sessions, introducing standardizing methodologies, principles, templates, and repeatable processes
• Creator of testing plans, templates, and carrying out end to end projects and testing objectives
• Through partnership and collaboration with key stakeholders, leads change management initiatives, UAT, programs and large scale cross-functional initiatives
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
