About The Position

First full level of specialization; applies expertise in more than one area of specialization. Work is performed within established professional standards, established policy, and/or established objectives. Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Incumbents are accountable for quality of work delivered by external suppliers as applicable. May influence others outside of team to ensure goals are met and resolves conflicts in an effective manner. Erroneous decisions or failure to achieve results may have a negative impact on the site's/major function's operations, schedules, and/or performance goals. Receives guidance primarily on unique, unusual, or controversial problems or questions. May lead a work group or project team consisting of one or more support staff and/or tech/professional staff with some coaching from own supervisor, or may provide advice and guidance in area of specialty. Seeks out new avenues for building internal and external relationships; maintains contacts with existing relationships. Advises Commodity Management team for CSR in Supplier contracts. Works with Celestica Legal on required CSR contractual terms and conditions. Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following: Leads the design, development and implementation of cross-functional SCM processes and applications across a single or multiple sites to support global SCM strategies. Works with Celestica, Customer and Supplier teams to deliver e-Business transactional and collaborative solutions. Provides technical, business process and project leadership to the global user community, IT and other SCM resources. Advises senior management of process issues, opportunities and recommends action plans. Provides technical guidance and mentors department business analysts. Assesses educational needs and skills at a site level to identify key areas that require education programs. Develops process, system rollout (ie i2, SAP) and skill-specific education programs including certification programs that addresses needs at site and regional level. Coordinates efforts of experts, department staff and site staff to prepare and deliver programs on a priority basis. Recommends and implements alternative best of breed methods including computer-assisted training to best fit education needs. Recommends process improvements and assists in change-management initiatives to ensure common and optimal process across the sites. Corporate Social Responsibility Advisor role (CSR) - The Corporate Social Responsibility role will be involved with developing and communicating Celestica's Corporate Social Responsibility program as it related to Supply Chain activities. Leads IT in the development and utilization of IT tools for automation of the monitoring process to ensure compliance with CSR. Consults with IT on process required with knowledge of Celestica procurement procedure. Develops and communicates CSR policy to Executives and Celestica suppliers. Responsible for external CSR communications through the Celestica Intranet. Manages and maintains a risk management monitoring system. Monitors external trends with respect to CSR. Ensures audit and audit practices for Celestica CSR practices.

Requirements

  • Good understanding of global business environment and Customers' business.
  • Broad knowledge of global supply chain, manufacturing business, material planning, order entry, MRP, logistics and financial measurements.
  • Working knowledge of e-business processes, applications and system integration.
  • Strong knowledge of IT concepts and integrated business applications
  • Ability to design complex systems, processes and business relationships.
  • Strong knowledge of Adult Education techniques
  • Excellent facilitation, communications and presentation skills.
  • Strong cross-functional project and team leadership skills.
  • Ability to identify and resolve complex process/system problems using financial, analytical and statistical models.
  • Ability to evaluate, prioritize and problem solve a variety of tasks to ensure their timely and accurate completion.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field (Business, Engineering, IT or Materials), or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience.
