$75,000 - $129,600Onsite

About The Position

The Process Transformation Lead (AI & Automation) plays a critical role in a newly formed team responsible for evaluating and modernizing business processes that support software implementation teams delivering enterprise banking products. This individual will assess existing, often mature and highly manual workflows and identify, size, and prioritize opportunities to optimize, standardize, automate, or transform them using AI (e.g., copilots/agents, chatbots, and workflow automation) in close partnership with technical delivery teams. This role acts as a trusted advisor to delivery teams, business stakeholders, and technical leaders by applying a structured approach to process improvement, value assessment, and change adoption—combined with a practical understanding of AI capabilities and constraints. The Lead ensures that proposed changes are feasible, aligned with enterprise standards, and delivered with clear success metrics that improve efficiency, accuracy, and the end‑to‑end client implementation experience.

Requirements

  • Strong background in business process analysis, process mapping, or operational workflow design.
  • Experience with software implementation lifecycles (preferably in financial services or enterprise level services).
  • Working knowledge of AI/automation concepts (conversational AI, generative AI, copilots/agents, workflow automation) with the ability to identify practical use cases, constraints, and risks.
  • Ability to translate business needs into clear technical requirements and recommendations.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence across teams and leadership levels.
  • Strong analytical thinking with a structured, methodical approach to problem‑solving.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with banking software platforms or related financial technology.
  • Exposure to AI/automation platforms (e.g., Copilot, Power Automate, UiPath, custom agent frameworks) as a customer, analyst, product owner, or partner to engineering teams (hands-on building is a plus, not required).
  • Prior experience in advisory, consulting, process transformation, or PMO environments.

Responsibilities

  • Business Process Review & Optimization Conduct comprehensive reviews of existing processes used by software implementation teams for banking‑related products.
  • Map current‑state workflows (people, tools, dependencies, documentation, data inputs/outputs).
  • Identify inefficiencies, redundancies, bottlenecks, and high‑effort tasks that are strong candidates for AI augmentation or automation.
  • Evaluate process maturity and readiness for modernization.
  • Translate complex operational challenges into clear problem statements and improvement recommendations.
  • AI Opportunity Identification, Prioritization & Partnership Assess where AI (copilots/agents, chatbots, workflow automation) can improve productivity, reduce manual effort, and enhance implementation delivery quality.
  • Develop well-formed use cases (problem statement, current-state pain, target-state workflow, assumptions, risks) and define expected value (time saved, quality lift, cycle-time reduction).
  • Partner with technical AI/engineering teams (platform owners, automation COEs, Copilot enablement) to validate feasibility, define solution options, and sequence delivery.
  • Serve as the operational owner for the use-case intake and prioritization pipeline (discovery, sizing, stakeholder alignment, readiness, and handoff to build teams).
  • Change Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement Present findings and recommendations to leaders in Delivery, Product, and Operations.
  • Collaborate closely with implementation managers, SMEs, and process owners to secure alignment and prioritization.
  • Help guide teams through the transition from manual/mature workflows to AI‑enhanced processes.
  • Create clear documentation (process maps, proposals, value assessments, training materials).
  • Assist in building a culture of AI adoption by proactively showcasing benefits, risks, and value.
  • Continuous Improvement & Measurement Define success metrics, KPIs, and ROI expectations for redesigned processes.
  • Monitor implemented solutions to ensure they produce measurable business impact.
  • Continuously scan for new AI capabilities that can be incorporated into the delivery lifecycle.
