About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Technician III – Complex Products to serve as the Team Lead for our Multi-Contact Area for 2nd Shift. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for overseeing complex multi-shot and multi-cavity injection molding operations, ensuring first-time quality, stable processes, and efficient production. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced injection molding professional looking to lead, troubleshoot, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience as an injection mold setter and Process Technician with multi-shot injection molding.
  • Hands-on experience with molding hygroscopic and non-hygroscopic resins.
  • Experience with RJG eDART System.
  • Experience with ERP and MES Systems.
  • Knowledge of plastic materials and process parameters for multi-shot injection molding.
  • Strong knowledge of plastic injection molding, assembly, part design, and tooling.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
  • High level of interpersonal skills to coach team members; effective verbal and written communication.
  • Knowledge of 5S and SMED philosophy.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to multi-task with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to work weekends and overtime when necessary.
  • Professional demeanor and ethical conduct, including handling confidential information appropriately.
  • Must be able to lift up to 55 pounds.
  • Standing, bending, lifting, twisting, and walking on a cement floor daily.
  • Ability to visually inspect parts with accuracy
  • Requires alertness, precision, and methodical attributes.

Nice To Haves

  • Master Molder® I & II certification a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily operations in the Multi-Contact Area, ensuring optimal setups, material flow, quality, and packaging processes.
  • Perform complete setups of multi-shot and multi-cavity molds, including loading process programs and ensuring proper hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and water connections.
  • Install, calibrate, and maintain robots and auxiliary equipment (thermolators, hot runner controllers, etc.).
  • Troubleshoot processes and halt production when nonconforming material is identified.
  • Support Process Engineers with process development and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Perform mold cleaning, dry ice blasting, and apply release agents as required.
  • Coach and provide technical guidance to technicians and support staff.
  • Coordinate with scheduling, materials, quality, and other teams to meet production goals.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in Raypro, MES, SAP, and related systems.
  • Support 5S, SMED, ATOMS, CI, and OpEx initiatives.
  • Work overtime as needed.
