The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. We are searching for the best talent for Process Engineering Co-Op, Orthopedics to be in Warsaw, IN. The Intern term is from July to December, 2026. Full time requirement (40 hours per week). Purpose: As a Process Engineering Co-Op, you will support manufacturing operations within the value streams by assisting with process improvement activities, data collection, and equipment support. This role offers an opportunity to apply your academic knowledge in real-world manufacturing settings, develop technical skills, and build strong industry relationships. You will work closely with experienced engineers, gaining exposure to process development, troubleshooting, and optimization.

Requirements

  • Completion of Undergraduate Freshman year at an accredited University is required.
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or related fields.
  • Have a cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher, which is reflective of all college coursework.
  • Strong interest in process engineering and manufacturing.
  • Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Effective communicator and collaborator.
  • Willingness to work on-site during regular business hours.
  • Permanently authorized to work in the U.S., must not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future.
  • Students currently on CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT usually requires future sponsorship for long term employment and do not meet the requirements for this program unless eligible for an alternative long-term status that does not require company sponsorship.
  • Ineligibility for severance.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with coordinating engineering activities to support high-quality manufacturing processes.
  • Support equipment maintenance, process performance tracking, and data collection.
  • Help perform experiments and capability studies—document findings and assist in analyzing results.
  • Support the evaluation of equipment and process improvements under supervision.
  • Develop and update process documentation and training materials.
  • Participate in safety, quality, and audit-related activities, supporting continuous improvement efforts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on process projects, including new product introductions and upgrades.
  • Learn and apply Lean Manufacturing tools and techniques.
  • Support daily manufacturing activities and ongoing process troubleshooting.
  • Communicate findings and progress to team members and supervisors.
