Eli Lilly and Company seeks a Process Engineer (R3-R4) to ensure a safe working environment and improve the safety culture. Take overall responsibility for the safe design and operation of the equipment within the area. Serve as the technical expert of equipment and process which includes clear understanding of equipment flow chart/process flow document, critical process parameters, and master formula instructions for the process. Lead troubleshooting efforts to resolve more difficult equipment and operational problems. Utilize formal problem solving techniques, including Root Cause Analysis, to resolve equipment issues. Provide oversight to Maintenance Tech/Engineering Tech(s) that support the area. #LI-DNI

Requirements

  • Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Computer Technology, or a related STEM field followed by 5 years of progressively responsible experience providing process engineering input and approving process engineering specifications within the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.
  • 5 years of experience with validated systems (CQV) and utilizing root cause analysis techniques
  • 5 years of experience leading strategic projects related to safety improvements
  • 5 years of experience creating and executing test plans and protocols for manufacturing
  • 5 years of experience leading troubleshooting efforts to resolve equipment and operational problems
  • 5 years of experience evaluating all activities for impact on qualified state of equipment.
  • 10% domestic and international travel required.
