They are seeking a Process Engineering Intern for their Vishay Dale Electronics facility in Columbus, NE. This facility is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of resistors and e-beam technology, employing approximately 600 people. The intern will be responsible for assessing manufacturing processes to identify methods to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of site operations. Requirements
- Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering Emphasis.
- Predominant focus in troubleshooting, problem solving and continuous improvement
Responsibilities
- Assists in the development of new or modified process formulations
- Defines processing or handling equipment requirements and specifications
- Reviews processing techniques and methods applied in the manufacture, fabrication, and evaluation of product line.
- Assists in handling production support engineering after transfer from design to high volume production.
