This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in a manufacturing setting, working closely with our process engineering team to improve processes, enhance product quality, and increase efficiency.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering , Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Nice To Haves
- Basic knowledge of CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) is a plus.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development, and optimization of manufacturing processes for cable and wire process .
- Conduct time and motion studies to identify areas for process improvement.
- Support the implementation of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including quality assurance, maintenance, and process , to resolve technical issues.
- Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities to address process challenges.
- Assist in the preparation of technical documentation, including process flow diagrams, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
- Monitor and analyze process data to identify trends and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
