SUMMARY OF POSITION Learns and applies organizational processes while developing the ability to break down tooling and understand manufacturing workflows. Supports the team with process-related tasks to build foundational knowledge, technical skills, and practical experience needed for progression within the role.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of progressive responsibility in operations/manufacturing.
  • Experience demonstrating problem solving abilities and resourcefulness.

Nice To Haves

  • Highly proficient computer skills
  • CATIA/CAD experience and/or training
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to interpret blueprints
  • Basic understanding of standard build principles and practices
  • Basic knowledge of manufacturing practices including welding, machining, bonding and fastening.
  • Familiar with manufacturing shop and shop environment and able to communicate and work with a direct work force at all levels.
  • Basic understanding of GD&T
  • A demonstrated capability to think strategically and execute tactically.
  • Excellent planning / organizational skills
  • Self-starter and highly motivated
  • Associate’s degree in engineering or related field of study

Responsibilities

  • Create material cut list for saw operations.
  • Read and comprehend prints.
  • Order raw material and commercial components.
  • Create work orders for processes (Saw, Weld, Machine, etc)
  • Analyze CAD data (CATIA, IGS, STP, DXF, etc)
  • Track material/component delivery status
