About The Position

As a Process Coordinator at our Grinnell, IA site, you play a central role in enabling safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing operations. You focus on setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting production equipment, including running, adjusting, and shutting down units and managing product changeovers; you operate machines and control systems, adjusting key parameters such as temperature, pressure, flow, and material reactions to meet production and quality standards; you perform cleaning and decontamination of equipment, maintain housekeeping, drive forklifts, and handle tank wagon filling and takeover; you conduct routine analytics and sampling, coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs with the technical team, and document and communicate work results during shift handovers; as a Process Coordinator, you support and enable all onsite process operations in close alignment with the Process Generalist and End-to-End mission team, ensuring that site personnel clearly understand production goals, materials, standards, and objectives to meet upstream and downstream customer needs while consistently demonstrating a safety-first mindset and strong compliance focus.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a preferred discipline such as Business, Engineering, Agriculture, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing; Or a High School Diploma and at least 5 years of experience in manufacturing operations, technical support, or safety
  • Valid driver’s license, with motor vehicle record (MVR) meeting company guidelines as part of pre-employment screening
  • Ability to critically think about the business, using sound judgment to support operational decisions and continuous improvement
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a team member, supporting colleagues and contributing to shared goals

Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, monitor, and troubleshoot manufacturing production equipment, including adjusting parameters such as temperature, pressure, flow, and material reactions, and operating units either manually or via control systems
  • Run up and shut down production facilities, including executing product changeover activities, cleaning and decontaminating equipment, and maintaining a high standard of housekeeping in the workplace
  • Operate forklifts safely, fill and take over tank wagons, and perform routine analytics and sampling to support process control and product quality
  • Support and enable all onsite process operations in alignment with the Process Generalist, using inputs from internal and external resources so site personnel clearly understand production goals, materials, standards, and objectives for upstream and downstream customers
  • Always embrace and demonstrate a safety-first culture, supporting the safe and timely delivery of quality supply based on production schedules while maintaining an efficient operation and contributing to site Key Metrics including Safety, Quality, TIP (total individual volume performance), TOP (total overall volume performance), and cost efficiency
  • Maintain strong relationships with the End-to-End mission team, Operations Technicians, Planning, Distribution and Logistics, cost controllers, unit leads, site leads, and other support personnel to resolve production challenges and ensure smooth operations
  • Coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs with the technical team and provide timely technical support where needed to ensure the best possible internal and external customer experience
  • Adapt quickly to changes in the business, courageously face new challenges and opportunities, and ensure the highest level of compliance and safety so that quality and safety standards are achieved in all activities
  • Document and communicate work results clearly and accurately during shift handovers to ensure continuity and alignment across teams
