About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Process Control Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in optimizing and maintaining manufacturing processes, ensuring production efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met. As a Manufacturing Process Control Engineer, you will leverage your expertise in control systems, automation, and process engineering to implement and improve manufacturing processes. You will analyze current production data, identify areas for improvement, and develop innovative solutions to enhance process capabilities. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will lead projects that focus on reducing waste, increasing yield, and improving overall productivity. You will also be responsible for implementing best practices in process control and staying current with industry trends and technologies. Your contributions will play a key role in our goal to deliver top-quality products to our customers while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Requirements

  • Familiar with Vision Systems (e.g. Cognex)
  • Familiar with various Motion Controllers/Actuators
  • Programming Logic Controllers (PLC) (e.g. Allen Bradley)
  • Configuring and designing HMI systems
  • Full comprehension of electrical and mechanical schematics
  • Strong understanding of process control principles and manufacturing methodologies.
  • Proficiency in using data analysis tools and software for process optimization.
  • Experience with PLCs, SCADA systems, and other automation technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Two year degree preferred, Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing process control or a similar role.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze plant processes and implement improvement
  • Troubleshooting issues with existing company installed systems
  • Maintain quality and safety standards are upheld
  • Power up electrical systems and configure hardware per application specifications
  • Design and develop software applications based on given requirements and specifications
  • Review, repair and redesign legacy code
  • Provide timely and detailed status updates
  • Help Train/Orient/Bring Up to Speed new employees
  • Develop and implement process control strategies to optimize manufacturing efficiency.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot and resolve process issues.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process deviations.
  • Design and maintain process control systems and automation solutions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance manufacturing processes.
