About The Position

The Spine Team Texas Procedure Scheduler is responsible for scheduling all surgeries, injections and procedures for patients. Position must maintain active communication regarding patient status/progress with health team members, and health care providers. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the mission of Spine Team Texas. The Procedure Scheduler reports directly to the Clinical Director. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Previous surgery and procedure scheduling experience required.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational ability.
  • Possess the ability to plan and execute work projects.
  • Possess the ability to work productively, either independently or with other individuals.
  • Proficient in communicating in the English language both written and verbally.

Nice To Haves

  • Centricity experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • It is the responsibility of the Procedure Scheduler to schedule all surgeries and procedures performed by Spine Team Texas physicians.
  • This position will also be responsible for scheduling post surgery appointments and follow-up appointments.
  • This position will have close interaction with physicians and patients and must comply with all HIPAA regulations at all times.
  • Procedure Scheduler’s may be required to participate in Spine Conference.
  • Quality customer service, maintaining confidentiality, problem solving, and accuracy with work is imperative for this position.
  • Other duties and responsibilities may be required by the Spine Team Texas Clinical Director.
