About The Position

As a Procedure Scheduler, you’ll be the central link between patients, providers, insurance partners, and our cardiology team. Your role ensures every procedure is scheduled accurately, authorized properly, and documented in the EMR—so patients receive the right care at the right time, without surprises. What You’ll Do Manage scheduling for in-office diagnostic procedures—book, confirm, and adjust appointments to maximize efficiency. Balance capacity across clinic locations by monitoring and distributing daily/weekly procedure volumes. Adapt schedules for urgent add-ons, provider changes, and equipment availability. Coordinate referrals with Referral Coordinators to ensure all procedures have proper documentation. Verify authorizations and enter approval numbers into the EMR promptly; obtain retro authorizations when needed. Communicate professionally with patients, referring offices, and insurance carriers. Collaborate with Billing (Aegis) and PSR teams to ensure account details are complete. Maintain compliance with HIPAA and patient privacy standards. Assist with related administrative tasks and other duties as assigned. What You’ll Bring

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of 6 months experience, or internship, in a professional setting
  • Microsoft Excel and Outlook proficiency
