Probation Administration Assistant
About The Position
The Probation Administration Assistant provides administrative support to various areas of Adult Probation in order to ensure smooth daily operations in the Adult Probation Department of the Judicial Branch of Arizona, Maricopa County. Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Two (2) years of general clerical experience OR Combined Education And Experience Qualifications: Post-secondary education may substitute for the experience on a year for year basis
- Must possess and maintain a valid Arizona Driver’s License at the time of hire
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge and proficiency with iCIS and Microsoft Office Software
- Bilingual in Spanish/English
- Experience in a legal/court environment
- Willingness to travel and provide coverage at other area offices
Responsibilities
- Provides administrative support to the department
- Distribute documents to appropriate sources
- Responds to inquiries regarding court cases, answers questions from the public and Judicial Branch staff.
- Performs a variety of case management functions, including reviewing case status reports and researching cases.
- Operates copier, printer and fax machines as needed
- Maintains files and coordinates file storage system
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
