About The Position

The DHA Pro Fee Quality Review Supervisor shall report directly to the Internal Quality Control Director. This position will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the DHA professional fee quality review team. This includes but is not limited to assist with onboarding DHA pro fee QA team members, bi-monthly review and approval of timesheets, monthly tracking and reporting of reviewer productivity, monitoring project utilization, ensure pre-bill reviews are coordinated, assigned, performed and reported timely; update of the pro fee review assignment list weekly and complete the midyear touch points and annual evaluations. Must have strong knowledge of physician professional fee coding to include surgical multi-specialty CPT coding.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (Relevant experience may be substituted for formal education or advanced degree)
  • 5+ years of medical coding or review experience
  • Must hold one of the following credentials: (RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CPC, CIC, COC)
  • Management experience
  • Advance coding knowledge of E/M guidelines, official coding regulations and guidance for pro fee coding
  • Must maintain coding credential while employed by Guidehouse
  • Ability to lead and guide the work of other quality assurance reviewers

Responsibilities
