About The Position

As a Staff Pharmacist on the Specialty Pharmacy team at Omnicell, you’ll contribute to a community’s well-being, act as a trusted advisor to patients, and ensure pharmacy operations are efficient, effective, and continually improving while being a part of a global organization dedicated to innovation in medication management. This pharmacy serves the local community Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The role involves providing exceptional and personalized patient care and pharmacy consulting services, building effective relationships with local physicians and the medical community, embracing a deep understanding of pharmacy operations for continual improvement, and staying informed of regulations, retail pharmacy best practices, and knowledge of specialty diseases.

Requirements

• Pharm.D. or BS Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy
• Successful completion of the Ohio state pharmacy board examination
• Active, non-expired Pharmacist license with the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy

Nice To Haves

• Three (3) years of experience in the practice of pharmacy

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional and personalized patient care and pharmacy consulting services; advise and guide with empathy, confidentiality, and diligence
• Build effective relationships with local physicians and medical community to ensure accurate and safe dispensing of medication to patients
• Embrace a deep understanding of pharmacy operations and a drive for continual improvement, learning, and leading to provide the best possible patient care and empower the pharmacy team’s development
• Stay informed of regulations, retail pharmacy best practices, and knowledge of specialty diseases such as Autoimmune, Oncology, Hepatitis C, HIV, and more
