About The Position
We are seeking a PRN Inpatient Psychiatrist to join our team at Granite Hills Hospital in West Allis, WI. This is your opportunity to join the dynamic team at a newer state-of-the-art psychiatric facility to provide weekend, overnight, as needed advanced behavioral health care to the great Milwaukee community and surrounding areas. Granite Hills offers high-quality patient centered care, nestled in the vibrant suburb of West Allis, our facility boasts evidence-based treatment modalities and features a multi-disciplinary team of expert medical professionals. With a wide range of treatment for adolescents, adults and older adults. Our 120 beds are split into 5 groups of 24 with enclosed outdoor spaces to promote healing. Granite Hills Hospital offers inpatient and outpatient care, as well as a Partial Hospitalization Program. We help determine the best treatment option for every patient, no matter where they are on their journey to recovery, as we work towards a positive outcome and a healthy life. West Allis is a city just west of Milwaukee and part of the greater Milwaukee-Waukesha metro area. It is a city with deep roots, lots of local flavor, famous for hosting the WI State Fair at the State Fair Park which also is the home of the oldest operating motor speedway, The Milwaukee Mile. Requirements
- Board Certified / Board Eligible in Adult or Child/Adolescent Psychiatry
- Wisconsin Medical License or ability to obtain
- Meet all credentialing criteria required by participating physicians
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient rounding, admissions, treatment team participation, discharge summaries and medication management.
- Collaborate with physicians, APPs, and support staff
