About The Position

We are seeking an Inpatient PRN Psychiatrist to join our dynamic medical staff at River Vista Behavioral Health in Madera, CA. This role offers lucrative earning potential and excellent flexibility while working alongside a collaborative care team with a strong support structure.

River Vista is a newer, state-of-the-art 128-bed behavioral health hospital that opened its doors in 2023. We offer a full continuum of inpatient services, including specialized units catering to the unique needs of children, adolescents, and older adults with co-occurring behavioral health and substance-use issues. We offer robust outpatient programs addressing prevalent behavioral health concerns.

Madera, CA is in California’s San Joaquin Valley, about 20 miles north of Fresno. The community is known for its diversity, family-oriented neighborhoods and a blend of small-town atmosphere with growing local amenities. Requirements

• Board Certified / Board Eligible in Psychiatry
• Licensed to practice in California or eligibility to obtain a CA license
• Meet all credentialing criteria required by participating physicians

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial evaluations and assessments, provide treatment team leadership, and deliver daily care to assigned patients.
• Work with a diverse caseload of individuals aged 18 and older
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs, and support staff
