About The Position

McFarland Clinic is currently accepting applications for a Privacy Coordinator for its Ames office. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients. Responsibilities include: Overseeing all ongoing activities related to the development, implementation, maintenance of, and adherence to organization's policies and procedures covering the privacy of, and access to, patient health information in compliance with federal and state laws and the healthcare organization's privacy practices in accordance with McFarland Clinic's Core Values and Promise. Position comes with competitive clinic pay and valuable benefit package. In person position. Education: Associates degree required. Bachelor's degree preferred Certificate/License: Certification in Healthcare Compliance preferred. Days: Monday - Friday Hours: 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM Experience Three years of experience in healthcare setting Previous project management preferred. Pre-employment drug screen and criminal history background checks are a condition of hire. Requirements

  • Associates degree required
  • Three years of experience in healthcare setting
