About The Position

M&M Industries is a U.S.-based manufacturer of plastic pails and packaging solutions. We operate in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where safety, quality, and teamwork are critical to keeping production running efficiently. The Print Room Inspector is responsible for inspecting the pails coming off the printer and informing the operator of any quality issues that need to be addressed. Additional responsibilities include packing finished product on pallets per customer specifications and assisting the operator with other job-related tasks.

Requirements

• Detail-oriented.
• Exceptional hand-eye coordination.
• High School Diploma or G.E.D. (required)
• None required.
• Ability to lift and handle a minimum of 45–50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to perform work from a standing position for extended periods of time.
• All work is performed in a manufacturing environment which may be hot/cold and requires the use of PPE at all times (safety glasses, hearing protection where required, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Follows safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Reads and understands print specifications for each order.
• Inspects pails coming off the printer for accuracy using the customer’s sample pail.
• Verifies image content, color, and alignment.
• Packs pails according to print specifications using the proper pallet types and required quantities.
• Assists the operator with setup for the next job after completing an order.
• Washes rollers and plates.
• Maintains a clean and organized work environment in accordance with the 5S principles.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
