About The Position

Auto insurers, automakers, commercial mobility companies, and the public sector use insights from CMT’s platform to power risk assessment, safety, claims, and driver improvement programs. CMT is looking for a collaborative, customer-committed, and creative Principal Revenue Manager II who wants to join us in making roads safer by making drivers better!

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience and/or certification in Accounting or Finance
  • 9+ years of progressive accounting experience, with a strong focus on revenue
  • Knowledge of ASC 606 and revenue recognition principles
  • Experience with NetSuite and advanced Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

  • Use independent judgment and discretion to manage revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606
  • Perform detailed contract reviews to identify performance obligations, transaction price allocation, and timing of revenue recognition
  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue close activities, including revenue and deferred revenue calculations, contract asset and contract liability accounting
  • Partner with Sales, Sales Ops, FP&A, and Billing on revenue implications
  • Ensure accuracy of revenue data across systems and files
  • Support internal and external audits, including preparation of schedules
  • Identify opportunities to automate and streamline revenue processes
  • Complete any additional tasks as they arise
