About The Position

We are currently seeking an experienced Principal Program Cost Controls Analyst to join our team at our McKinney, TX facility. This person will be responsible for tracking, analyzing and cost controls associated with multiple projects, and will interact with all functions including Program Management, Engineering, Finance, Contracts and Operations. This is an excellent position for an individual who wants to be integral part of a team that is directly responsible for program execution. Requirements

  • Experience in Finance including Program Controls, EVMS, Forecasting, and Accounting
  • Experience in working in SAP applications APEX and PRISM
  • Experience in defense or aerospace industry.
  • Experience in preparation of EACs, LREs, financial forecasting, budgeting and variance analysis
  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years experience

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • EVMS certification
  • Experience or exposure to performing cost control and analysis functions in a U.S. Government, multi-CLIN contracting environment
  • Working knowledge of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) concepts, related systems, and processes
  • Experience working in the PMX Tool Suite
  • Experience in a working across different environments such as Development, Integration and Manufacturing/Production

Responsibilities

  • Development of Estimate to Complete (ETC), Estimate at Complete (EAC) and Latest Revised Estimate (LRE) data
  • Assessing monthly performance measurement through the Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)
  • Cost control and variance analysis, internal/external reporting, risk management and financial support
  • Converting and validating data into meaningful and actionable information for program stakeholders
  • Partnering cross functionally to resolve program issues through complex problem-solving strategies
  • Deep dive data analysis in PRISM and APEX with interpretation of findings
  • Working with program team during the creation and organization of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and job cost accumulation
  • Monitoring the funding, invoicing, and cash collection for the contracts
  • Monitoring cost and labor to ensure that actuals are within budget and charged to the correct end objective
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis, data integrity checks, and validations related to program financials
  • Travel up to 10%
