About The Position

We are looking for a Manager, Program Cost Controls Scheduler to join our team in Sterling, VA! This position is for an experienced Program Schedule Analyst who will interface and work with the Program Management Office, Engineering, and Operations. While in this role, the ideal candidate will provide guidance and analysis in the areas of Project Management, Budgeting, Scheduling, and Variance Analysis. The candidate will become an integral part of the Program Management Team providing advice, consultation, and analysis with regard to creation and execution of the program plan.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
  • Must be able to obtain DOD clearance.
  • Experience working with SAP and/or MRP software.

  • Solid interpersonal skills - ability to communicate and influence at all levels within an organization
  • Solid presentation skills - able to analyze, prepare, and deliver presentations to leadership
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with IPMDAR a plus

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain the program Integrated Master Plan (IMP) and the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
  • Interact with Control Account Managers (CAMs)/Integrated Product Team (IPT) Leads to develop intermediate schedules and incorporate them into the IMS.
  • Participate in the development of proposals including the creation of interim schedules and providing advice for the creation of Basis of Estimate documents.
  • Incorporate regular status and ETC updates in the IMS based on inputs from CAMs.
  • Conduct thorough critical path and driving path analysis of the IMS.
  • Assist, as needed, the Program Earned Value Analyst with regularly scheduled and unscheduled tasks.
  • Provide required and requested schedule-related reports to Program Management including highlights of schedule-related issues affecting program execution and recommendations for mitigation.
  • Support Program Reviews
  • Support ongoing compliance reviews and/or periodic process audits (e.g., DCAA, DCMA and Joint Surveillance Process)
  • Ensure the proper implementation of EVMS through the use of standardized processes, tools, reports out on-going compliance reviews and/or periodic process audits (e.g. DCAA, DCMA and Joint Surveillance Process)
  • Ability to travel domestic less than 10%
  • Must be able to obtain DOD clearance.
