Radar Frequency Solution (RFS), a RTX Business, has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Finance Manager to join the RFS USAF Development Sub Strategic Business Unit (SSBU). The selected candidate will lead a team of 3-4 finance analysts supporting the strategic International Radar Development portfolio that is critical for future growth on the APG-82 radar platform (F-15 Fighter Jet). The successful candidate will lead the International Development Portfolio. This strategic position will support numerous new business initiatives and new contract negotiations. Additional responsibilities include supervising the execution of current contracts that require knowledge in Earned Value, Baseline Planning and Development, Estimates at Completion (EACs), risk and opportunity development, financial forecasting, Short Range Outlook (SRO), Annual Operation Plan (AOP) and Long Range Plan (LRP) strategic planning. The candidate will also have the opportunity to support various customer meetings, F-15 level meetings and senior management level meetings. This position will be the lead guiding multiple junior analysts in continued process improvement, reporting efficiencies and product quality. Success in this role will be dictated by one’s ability to meet critical deadlines while managing multiple conflicting priorities. The lead will need to analyze and understand data quickly in order to make informed business decisions. The candidate will need to exhibit financial independence, possess high business acumen and exhibit robust analysis within the APG-82 Radar Development programs portfolio. This role must be able to interpret and ensure implementation of Raytheon Financial Policies and Procedures to program personnel as part of their daily/weekly communications.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or related field or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience.
  • Experience with financial systems (SAP, APEX, AO) or similar processes.
  • Experience in the use of Microsoft Office Products.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the period-closing activities and facilitate the weekly/monthly cadence across portfolio for inputs, reviews, and on-time submittal of deliverables to RFS FP&A.
  • Experience in externally reported EVM programs (IPMDAR, CFSR, DFARS clauses, DID formats, etc).
  • Support accurate and timely analysis of financial performance, key metrics (Bookings, Sales, Earnings, Cash), elements of cost, and provide early identification and communication of issues impacting financial performance
  • Drive efficiencies through process improvement and grow FP&A best practices across RFS Development.
  • Provide support to RFS Development Balance Sheet, Overhead, and Investment activities including Capital projects, NBI spending, CFRs and ARs.
