Job Description: The HPE Private Cloud team is focused on delivering a best-in-class Virtualization solution with HPE Morpheus VM Essentials. This provides customers an enterprise grade virtualization solution to run their mission and business critical workloads. We’re seeking a proactive and results-driven Product Manager to join our dynamic Product Management team. This role calls for someone with a strong passion for creating exceptional products with a customer-centric mindset and deep technical understanding of virtualization and hybrid cloud infrastructure. Cross-functional collaboration and leadership will be essential to your success in this role. The primary work location is as listed; however, remote work options will be considered. Management Level Definition: Contributions have visible technical impact on a product or major subcomponent. Applies in-depth professional knowledge and innovative ideas to solve complex problems. Visible contributions improve time-to-market, achieve cost reductions, or satisfy current and future unmet customer needs. Recognized internal authority on key technology area applying innovative principles and ideas. Provides technical leadership for significant project/program work. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, engineering or related field of study.
  • 10+ years of work experience in related field
  • Technical understanding and knowledge of the relevant industry
  • Knowledge and Skills: Proven experience building enterprise-grade products from concept to launch.
  • Strong track record in defining product vision and go-to-market strategy.
  • Comfortable leading design and technical discussions with cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to align and motivate engineering teams around shared goals.
  • Deep knowledge in virtualization technologies, including various infrastructure platforms.
  • Proficiency with agile tools like Jira and Confluence.
  • Skilled at influencing stakeholders without direct authority.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a key member of the Private Cloud team focused on virtualization.
  • Lead end-to-end product use cases for virtualization technologies (e.g., provisioning, monitoring, disaster recovery, automation, and orchestration).
  • Engage with our customers and partners to develop an understanding of their business needs and market opportunities for our products.
  • Develop and maintain product roadmaps aligned with company strategy and endorsed by stakeholders.
  • Translate roadmap features into clear product requirements and user stories.
  • Collaborate with product, sales, engineering, partners, and customers to ensure product-market fit.
  • Guides key stakeholders on the portfolio strategy across all phases of the lifecycle (e.g., planning, development, launch, management, exit).
  • Drive alignment across product management, engineering, marketing, Supply Chain: SKUs, inventory and sales functions.
  • Partner with GTM teams to plan product launches and increase customer awareness and adoption.
  • Builds and delivers the value proposition, target customer segments, and business case to bring innovative and disruptive products to market for a product portfolio with respect to the whole company product portfolio (i.e. Product configuration mix, Revenue/Margins, financials, market share).
