Amazon LEO is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite network. Our mission is to
deliver fast, reliable internet connectivity to customers beyond the reach of
existing networks. From individual households to schools, hospitals, businesses,

operating in locations without reliable connectivity.

The Amazon LEO team is looking for a seasoned Principal Product
Manager-Technical (PMT or PMT-ES) who are high performing, motivated and believe
in our mission to close the digital divide. We operate in a fast-paced startup
environment and offer a plethora of challenging and rewarding projects for our
team. Everyday is Day 1 at LEO and we are just getting started.

This Principal PMT role will be responsible for owning the end-to-end experience
for Small and Medium businesses globally across mobile and web platforms. This
involves cross functional close partnership not only with the Business and GTM
teams including regional leads, but also industry SMEs, UX and Design teams,
Engineering leaders and stakeholders and fellow PMTs whose areas impact the
customer experience. The role will be highly visible to Senior Leadership and is
scoped to potentially achieve the next level for the right candidate. This
involves cross functional close partnership not only with the Business and GTM
teams including regional leads, but also industry SMEs, UX and Design teams,
Engineering leaders and stakeholders and fellow PMTs whose areas impact the
customer experience. The role will be highly visible to Senior Leadership and is
scoped to potentially achieve the next level for the right candidate.

You will be joining a team that is focused on driving the product requirements
and enterprise service delivery mechanisms for all of the customer facing
hardware, software and solutions for Amazon LEO.

Requirements

• Seasoned Amazonian well versed and excelling at working backwards and structured thinking.
• Experience with AWS Services and concepts is a must. Customer Obsessed.
• Experience working directly with customers and cross functional teams across Engineering, Business, Design, GTM, Marketing.
• Solid communicator – able to expertly craft the product vision and present to senior leadership to elicit their buy in and support.
• Core Product Skills
• Strong business judgment, ability to dive deep into data and KPIs and collaborate with business teams on big opportunities.
• Strong Technically, able to collaborate closely with engineering partners on technology choices and contribute to/lead technical approach and strategy discussions.
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
• Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
• Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Nice To Haves

• Gen-AI experience and interest is a big plus.
• Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
• Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement
