Role Overview The Principal Product Manager – Residential Mortgage is a senior individual contributor role focused on bringing JazzX’s AI-powered Residential Mortgage application to market with clarity, credibility, and impact. This role sits at the intersection of product strategy, customer engagement, and go-to-market execution, ensuring that complex mortgage workflows and AI-driven capabilities are clearly positioned and successfully adopted by enterprise customers. The role partners closely with Product leadership, Sales, and Marketing to translate product strategy into strong market-facing execution. This role plays a critical role in driving launches, shaping product narratives, enabling field teams, and representing the voice of the customer. This position is ideal for a seasoned mortgage product leader who thrives in customer-facing environments, brings deep domain expertise, and operates effectively through influence.

Requirements

  • 8–12+ years of experience in product management, product marketing, solutions consulting, or similar customer-facing product roles.
  • Residential mortgage experience is required , with hands-on exposure to mortgage workflows such as origination, underwriting, processing, closing, and post-close operations.
  • Experience supporting complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles.
  • Proven track record driving product launches and enabling field teams.
  • Deep understanding of residential mortgage processes, regulatory considerations, and risk-sensitive decisioning.
  • Familiarity working with mortgage lenders, operations leaders, compliance teams, and executive stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise SaaS products and workflow-driven systems.
  • Comfort working with AI-enabled products and explaining their value, limitations, and trade-offs in a mortgage context.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong executive presence and credibility with enterprise customers.
  • Structured thinker with strong judgment in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
  • Ability to operate independently at a principal IC level while influencing across product, sales, and marketing teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field required.

Responsibilities

  • Product Go-To-Market Execution Drive product go-to-market planning and execution for JazzX’s Residential Mortgage application in partnership with Product leadership, Sales, and Marketing.
  • Operationalize product strategy through coordinated launches, field readiness, and customer-facing execution.
  • Ensure new capabilities are introduced with clear value propositions, target use cases, and adoption guidance.
  • Product Messaging & Positioning Develop and refine product narratives that clearly articulate customer value, differentiation, and business outcomes.
  • Translate complex mortgage workflows, compliance requirements, and AI-driven capabilities into credible, compelling messaging for enterprise buyers.
  • Ensure consistent positioning across sales conversations, demos, presentations, and executive briefings.
  • Customer & Market Engagement Serve as a senior product representative in customer meetings, executive briefings, pilots, and roadmap discussions.
  • Lead customer discovery focused on buying motivations, operational pain points, adoption barriers, and risk considerations.
  • Synthesize customer feedback and market insights into actionable input for Product leadership, Sales, and Marketing.
  • Sales Enablement & Field Support Enable Sales, Solutions Engineering, and Customer Success teams with the narratives, materials, and guidance needed to win and expand enterprise mortgage accounts.
  • Partner on strategic deals and proof-of-value engagements, helping position JazzX effectively in competitive sales cycles.
  • Develop product collateral including pitch decks, demo flows, FAQs, and competitive guidance.
  • Launch & Readiness Coordination Coordinate cross-functional product launches with inbound product management, engineering, marketing, and field teams.
  • Define launch readiness criteria and ensure alignment before customer exposure.
  • Support post-launch feedback loops to improve adoption, messaging, and positioning.
  • Competitive & Market Intelligence Track competitive mortgage technology providers, fintech solutions, and AI-driven offerings.
  • Analyze competitive strengths, gaps, and differentiation to inform positioning and GTM execution.
  • Provide structured insights that help Product leadership make informed roadmap and investment decisions.
