Position Summary... What you'll do... As the product lead of our Merch Core LLM, you will lead the overall product strategy for Merchandising's main reasoning agent - helping Merchants get answers to their questions with precision, consistency, and predictability. Our team gathers information about customer needs and applies our technological expertise and strategic thinking to create a product roadmap. The product journey is designed to leverage technological excellence to drive customer satisfaction. Walmart's philosophy of Everyday Low Prices is not an easy one to achieve. What you'll do: Lead product strategy for Wally’s LLM reasoning and decisioning layer for improved contextual understanding, multi-turn memory, and dynamic tool invocation. Requirements

  • Skillset must be technical
  • Must have an extreme ownership mentality
  • Will as the single threaded owner for Wally’s LLM roadmap across conversational UX, reasoning models, and integration standards
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related area and 9 years’ experience in product management.
  • 11 years’ experience in product management or related area.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related area and 8 years’ experience as a product manager, ideally working on consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex B2B/C products
  • Supervisory experience
  • We value candidates with a background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.
