About The Position

Join us in shaping the future of development at Unity. We're building Core Standards—a groundbreaking initiative that will transform how developers trust, manage, and integrate third-party tools in the Unity ecosystem. You'll be responsible for leading the evolution of guidelines and verification systems that ensure the third-party ecosystem is secure, signed, and stable. As developers gain more control over their data through our Data Developer Framework—where they maintain complete ownership while Unity provides the infrastructure to collect, organize, and unlock its value—Core Standards becomes even more critical. You'll ensure that packages touching developer data and gameplay are trustworthy, work reliably with diagnostics, and remain dependable over the lifetime of a project. This is your chance to raise the bar for the entire industry, making games more performant, efficient, and stable for end-users everywhere. We announced Core Standards at Unite, and now we're ready to bring this vision to market in 2026.
